Food coloring to obtain color needed (cake decorator's liquid makes bright play dough!)
Mix all ingredients in a large sauce pan. Cook and stir over low/medium heat until play dough is completely formed and no longer sticky. It will come off the sides of the pan and form a ball. (It is very important to cook thoroughly until it forms a ball. Play dough that is not cooked thoroughly will come to preschool very sticky and unusable!) Allow to cool and knead until smooth. (It's very important to knead it as well!) Store in a zip lock bag.
If you are signed up to bring play dough for our Preschool, each parent needs to make two of these batches. One batch will be for one classroom, therefore you will be making playdough for two classrooms.
